In collaboration with the Community Foundation, the Huntington County Visitor Bureau awarded $2500 to three local organizations to assist in preparation for visitors to Huntington County for the upcoming solar eclipse. The grants were given as a part of a placemaking initiative of the Foundation and Bureau.

The Markle Chamber of Commerce and Warren Area Chamber of Commerce were each given $1100 as they prepare activities and facilities for potentially thousands of visitors on April 8th. The Upper Wabash Interpretive Center was given $300 for camper programming surrounding the event.
