Scholarships
Ignite Your Future
The Community Foundation of Huntington County announces its participation in a 2-year pilot program with the Don Wood Foundation called “Ignite Your Future” beginning in 2024.
Through this program, the Community Foundation is offering the following grants and scholarships :
- Certificate and associate degree scholarships, up to $2,500 per applicant per year, renewable for up to two years
- Technical educator scholarships, up to $5,000 per educator per year
- Bachelor’s degree scholarships, up to $5,000 per applicant per year, renewable for up to two years
Certificate and associate degree scholarships – The 2024 application is open on Friday, March 1st. Scholarships are available to Huntington County residents attending accredited public and private nonprofit universities in Indiana, Ohio, or Michigan. Applications can be submitted through our scholarships page.
Programs Eligible for the associate degree and certificate scholarships include:
- Industrial Technology
- Machine Tool Technology
- Engineering Technology
- Technology Education or Technology Leadership
- Sales or Marketing
- Organizational Leadership
- Entrepreneurship
Technical Educators Scholarships – The 2024 application is open on Friday, March 1st. Huntington County educators can apply for these grants through our scholarships page. Grants will be awarded to qualified applicants for training or educational and professional development.
Bachelor’s Degree Scholarships – These scholarships will be awarded through our Community Scholarship Process and are available through our scholarships page. Scholarships are available to Huntington County residents attending accredited public and private nonprofit universities in Indiana, Ohio, or Michigan.
Programs Eligible for the Bachelor’s degree scholarships include:
- Bachelor’s Degree Scholarships
- Engineering and Industrial Technology
- Technology Education or Technology Leadership
- Sales or Marketing
- Organizational Leadership
- Entrepreneurship
